1. About the Platform
GullyDrop is a technology platform that enables customers in Jamshedpur to discover and place orders with independent local merchants (kirana stores, sabziwalas, flour mills, bakeries, etc.) and have those orders delivered by independent delivery partners. GullyDrop does not itself sell or own the items listed on the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under Indian law to use the Platform. By placing an order you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Accounts and registration
- You may register using your mobile number, email address, or by initiating a WhatsApp conversation with our verified business number.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials, OTPs, or session links shared with you.
- You must provide accurate delivery address, contact, and payment information. We are not liable for failed deliveries caused by incorrect details.
4. Orders and pricing
- Prices, MRPs, and product availability are set by the underlying merchant and may change without notice.
- An order is treated as confirmed only after the merchant accepts it. If a merchant cannot fulfil the order (for example, an item is out of stock), we will notify you and refund the affected amount.
- Pack size, weight, and freshness of perishable items (vegetables, fruits, dairy) may vary slightly between what is shown and what is delivered. Reasonable variations do not constitute a defect.
- You agree to inspect items at the time of delivery and raise any complaint within 24 hours of delivery.
5. Payments
- We accept payment via UPI, supported wallets, net banking, and cards through licensed payment aggregators (such as Razorpay, PhonePe, and others). Cash on Delivery may be enabled for select orders at our discretion.
- We do not store full card numbers, CVVs, or UPI PINs on our servers. Payment processing is handled by the payment aggregator under their own terms.
- Failed online payments are auto-reversed by the payment aggregator. If a deduction is reflected in your bank but the order has not been confirmed within 48 hours, please contact us with the transaction reference.
6. Delivery
Delivery is performed by independent delivery partners. Estimated delivery windows shown on the Platform (typically 20–35 minutes) are indicative and may be affected by weather, traffic, partner availability, or merchant preparation time. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy for details.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Detailed terms for cancellations and refunds are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform to order items in violation of any law, including but not limited to age-restricted items prohibited by applicable regulations.
- Place fraudulent, duplicate, or abusive orders, or initiate chargebacks for delivered orders without first contacting our support team.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or otherwise interfere with the Platform.
- Impersonate any other person or use the Platform to harass merchants or delivery partners.
9. Merchant content
Product names, photos, descriptions, prices, and stock are provided by the merchants themselves. While we make reasonable efforts to keep this information accurate, we do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of any merchant-supplied content.
10. Intellectual property
The GullyDrop name, logo, software, and original Platform content are owned by Skapian Private Limited or its licensors and are protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not copy or reuse any part of the Platform without prior written permission, except for normal end-user use.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform or any single order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of business, profit, or goodwill.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, attempted to defraud the Platform, or used the service in a manner that harms other users, merchants, or delivery partners.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be notified via the Platform or by email/WhatsApp where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance.
